Candy Cane Christmas

Good morning everybody. Well it's Sunday again - so soon!! I had a very pleasant day at the craft fair at the National Motorcycle Museum yesterday, but I was a good girl and didn't spend too much - which makes a change.

My Cards

Just some very quick cards here. I used some A4 cardstock and computer generated the sentiment twice before printing it and cutting it into two A6 cards.  The candy cane image was printed from my Greetings Card Factory and die cut with SB ovals and petite scalloped ovals. Although it doesn't show up in the picture I used red stickles on the holly berries then finished off with red pearls from the Hobby House.  It's amazing how quickly you move along when you do the same cards.  However I think I probably did a dozen and then changed to another one because I get very bored doing them all the same.

Hope this finds you all well and getting on with your Christmas preparations.  For some reason I cannot summon any enthusiasm at all this year.      I have at least got all my presents apart from a couple so that's good news. But I haven't even thought about food yet.  Still,  it will all come together and I'm sure everything will be great as it always is.

Well have a good day.

Good morning Christine,
Glad you had a god day and did not spend too much, that is a very hard thing to do these days with so many crafty goodies on offer!!!
Love your cards, making "batch" cards does get a bit boring.
It gets through them though.
I have cut back dramatically on the amount of cards I make and send. I now give a donation to a Cancer Charity in hope that they will find a cure sometime soon.
Keep up the great work it is all worth it
Have a great day
Sending you an extra few (((((hugs)))))

Hi Christine,

These are gorgeous, I have used the same font on some of my Christmas cards, its quite a festive one isn't it? Good idea to do a batch of cards, they are done so much quicker. My hubby looked at my pile today and said '' are all them cards for posting, there's hundreds of them'' bit of an exaggeration but I dread to think what its going to cost as most are all large cards!!! I got carried away I think with 8x8 next year must do them smaller lol!

I have most of my presents, just stuck for another one for my daughter then present wise I think I'm done, food can wait till last week lol!

Love & Hugs

I see, you had a good time at the Nat. Motor museum. Would have liked being there too, and so does my husband. But he would go for the cars...!!

Great cards Christine and ideal for posting. I have most of my shopping done thanks to the internet. My decorations are not up yet - my eldest son is going to do that next Saturday - he likes to make a ritual of it with Christmas music etc. and I am certainly not complaining.

Hi Christine
Super cards you busy girl. I've but back on the posting and try and do hand deliveries. Two cards in the same envelope to Malaysia cost us £3.08 yesterday.
Pressies almost done. Food. . .yikes! Cheese on toast with a bit of cranberry at this rate lol !
Take care.

Hi Christine, super cards! I've been doing the same - another 40 CAS cards at the weekend, but I get bored if I repeat too much, which is why I just can't do wedding invites! Carole Z X

Gorgeous cards Christine and I love the canes. I must try to get to one of those craft shows at the Motorcycle museum next year. You are not the only person with Xmas, I just can't seem to get enthusiastic right now and I have no presents. Mum is taking me out on Wednesday and it's going to be hectic and tough! x

Hi Christine, so happy you have your computer back under your control again. We have withdrawal symptoms when we can't connect, don't we? Loved your candy cane cards. You must have a wonderful printer, as the colors were so vivid. Loved the S/B you chose to enhance this festive image, and a great choice to assembly-line for your cards. TFS & Hugs

Fab cards Christine. As you said doing the same can jolly you along quickly but I'm the same as you I get fed up seeing the same outcome. These are fabulous though and if mind looked like these I'd be pretty chuffed.

Wonderful cards...so smart of you to mass create a few...makes it go so much faster. This is such a busy time of year so anything that helps with time management is fab in my book.

The image is great...I should think about using an image like this as it suggests my last name! What is greeting card factorty? Is it a CD?

Lots aof crafty hugs
